Fannish Enterprises, eh? Sounds like a stupid name to me. What's a "fannish," anyway?
"Fannish" is a term used in the science fiction community, where our company started. If you go to a science fiction convention, belong to a Star Trek club, name your puppy "Hiro," or go to the latest Star Wars movie dressed like Han Solo, you're doing something fannish. So, the company name reflects that.
Fannish Enterprises has been in business since 1983, when we began manufacturing buttons that we sold at science fiction conventions. During this time, we've provided thousands of buttons to both the science fiction community and a variety of businesses, clubs, school groups, and so forth. We've also branched into producing mouse pads and personalized items such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, and key chains. Because we're a "cottage industry," we excel in quickly filling smaller orders. Perhaps you've contacted another business to provide you with buttons, mouse pads, or other merchandise, only to find out that it requires a large order or has a long turnaround time. When you do business with Fannish Enterprises, you'll receive personalized attention, with quick turnaround, and we won't make you buy a thousand of something.
We? Who are you people, anyway?
Bill and Susan Ross Moore own and operate Fannish Enterprises. Since 1983, we've expanded our button titles from about 25 to over 300. In 2001, we added mouse pads to our product line. In 2002, we added products such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, and key chains. We also sell gaming supplies for those who play Dungeons and Dragons; Vampire: The Masquerade; Magic, the Gathering, and so forth. You can get your books, dice, miniatures, cards, and related items from Fannish Enterprises. Check out the Gaming section on the Other Things page to see what we keep in stock; we also welcome special orders. Just e-mail us your want list and we'll work with you to fill it. Bill has won several awards for his painted minatures. He'll be glad to paint your player character or monster miniatures. Susan is also a published author/editor. You can purchase her works on the Other Things page.
